IN MY VIEW - Otto Hornung Brno bourse Czechs booth-holders’ takings Happy Hanover NAPOSTA 2005 in Hanover, Germany, from June 2 to 5, was a tremendous success and undoubtedly the best stamp exhibition so far this year, even though it was only a national exhibition. With the participation of other European countries, including the UK, it was much better than the designated European exhibition in Brno, and miles better than the international Pacific Explorer in Sydney ... There was a frame showing one of the two known 'unissued Audrey Hepburn' stamps. The other was recently sold by Heinrich Köhler of Wiesbaden for €70,000 (£47,600) including commission. At a price of around £15 for each lot of 20,000 postcards Ron succeeded in buying a quarter-of-a-million cards ... a week later Ron received a call from the Blue Peter warehouse asking whether he would be interested in buying the rest. He agreed a similar price and shortly after he was the proud owner of another quarter-of-a-million.
