What's in store for 2006

WITH the Christmas issue, the last in 2005, imminent, it is time to look ahead to see what the coming year has in store for those dealers wise or foolish enough to deal in modern GB ... Getting the year off to a strong start is January’s Animal Tales, a set of eight stamps in four se-tenant pairs each showing an illustration of a creature from children’s literature, notably Jeremy Fisher, the White Rabbit (from Alice in Wonderland), Paddington Bear, and Kipper.

This is a joint issue with the USPS, which will also issue a similar set but depicting other animal characters with just two designs common to both releases ...
